BACKGROUND
For over 15 years, I have been shaping narrative audio for museums, galleries, and heritage sites worldwide. My work is built on a deep appreciation for the source material and a commitment to making complex history feel accessible and meaningful to every visitor.
A background in BBC broadcasting and audio narration, gives me a practical insight into how a script actually performs. I don't just write for the page; I write with the studio in mind - ensuring natural pacing, clarity, and delivery that feels authentic to the listener.

My involvement usually begins at the beginning of a project - shaping the narrative direction and visitor journey before the first word is even written. Defining the tone and "heart" of the story early on, ensures the final experience feels cohesive and intentional.

I adapt my role to fit your team’s specific needs. Whether I’m acting as a sounding board for curators or serving as the lead writer for a production studio, I work within your existing frameworks to keep the project moving forward smoothly.
Writing for the Ear
Drawing on my background in broadcasting and production, I craft scripts that account for pacing, performance, and the unique environment of a site. The result is content that feels natural to the listener and "production-ready" for the studio.
End-to-End Support
My involvement is entirely scalable. I can provide high-level advisory during concept development, deliver full-scale scripts, or step in for final refinements. My goal is to ensure the interpretation remains exemplary from the initial concept to the final delivery.

I integrate into multidisciplinary teams, providing concept generation, narrative structure, scriptwriting and interpretation strategy for domestic and international projects.

I work alongside curators, producers, and designers from early concept development through to final delivery. Whether directing voice talent or refining an interpretation strategy, I focus on maintaining a consistent, high-quality creative vision.
FEES & AVAILABILITY
Bespoke Project Fees
Fees are project-based and scaled to reflect the scope and level of involvement required. I provide clear, comprehensive proposals once a project brief is defined, ensuring that costs are transparent from the outset.
Consultancy & Travel
For projects requiring site visits or international travel, expenses are agreed upon in advance and billed separately. This allows for flexibility whether the work is handled remotely or as an on-site creative partner.
